Rebecca Hartong

I cannot hide it. I like Rebecca! Of all the posters in the alt.religion.scientology newsgroup that I admire, I would have a hard time deciding who of Rebecca or Diane Richardson I would put on the Nr 1 spot.

Faithful readers of this web site may find indeed that I have much admiration for Diane too. I admire Diane’s clarity of thought and expression, as well as her uncompromising honesty. However, Rebecca has that special way to express herself which is at the same time poetic and efficient. It is that combination of perspicacity, honesty, and elegance that I am particularly fond of.

Of course, another reason why I like Rebecca, is the fact that she is able to question pre-conceived ideas. This is the reason I feature a page with selected posts that she did in the alt.religion.scientology newsgroup. Not that I agree on everything with her. We probably diverge on our way to consider certain key aspects on Scientology and other subjects. But I can certainly agree with what I feature on this page.

I wish I had more time to make a better and wider selection. For now, I only have two threads. They aren’t necessarily the best but were the ones I had at hand at the time. I believe, however, that they are quite representative. I promise to dig out more as soon as I can afford it.
