Although the alt.religion.scientology newsgroup (a.r.s.) is prominently an anti-Scientology newsgroup, Scientologists post in from time to time. Some are dumb and others are bright, some are conditioned and others are more thoughtful, like in the outer society. Many anti-Scientologists, however, in their typical black and white mentality ("we are the good ones, they are the bad ones") like to portrait Scientologists as dumb and conditioned Vs the all-thoughtful, knowledgeable, and discerning "critics". In doing so, of course, they once more demonstrate that they are hardly better than what they criticize. Compare the following portrayal, for example, with actual posts from Scientologists to be found on my a.r.s. page, and see how such a depiction is part of the general anti-Scientology propaganda fancied in a.r.s.

probably only want all my money. But, this newsgroup is amazing. Think I'll
watch what happens some more. Sure is more interesting than All My Children,

jdrake SP2 now do you think that any of the Scienos is going to listen to
what I say? Will they be able to understand what I'm telling them? Will they
learn how to avoid shooting themselves in the feet, the calves, the knees,
the thighs, the butt, the groin, etc, until they run out of bullets?
